Mawddach Estuary
Canoeing on the Mawddach Estuary is a little less crazy than the National Whitewater
Center at Bala and is only 1/2 a mile from Garthyfog. It is a popular location
for Families and organizations such as Scouts and is extensively used by the
local outward bound centers. Gently meandering from Dolgellau to Barmouth there
is pleanty of breathtaking scenery and wildlife to see en-route.
